Week 20 (January 28-February 1)

First:
This week we had to change our plans. With the recent rain the field does not have a lot of area without water or mud being present. We ended up changing to work on jumping rope. The kids are working on learning to jump forwards and backwards.

This week we had to change our plans. With the recent rain the field does not have a lot of area without water or mud being present. We ended up changing to work on jumping rope. The goal is to have the kids get their heart rates up. We also made connections to our standards that talk about moderate to vigorous physical activities. We had the students check their heart rates multiple times and had them figure out of they were at least at a moderate level (60% of Maximum Heart Rate).
